Through the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, it was announced that the Bali Provincial Government will impose a levy on foreign tourists of IDR 150,000 starting February 14, 2024.

Foreign tourists visiting Bali are required to pay tourist fees in Indonesian currency, namely Rupiah. The levy may be implemented permanently.

This levy is imposed to protect nature and preserve culture as well as improving the quality of service, safety, and comfort of Bali tourists.

How to Pay Tourist Levy?

To pay the Bali tourist levy, you can visit the payment page on the official website of the Bali Provincial Government, lovebali.baliprov.go.id. It may take a few minutes to fill out the payment form of the tourist levy.

Need to note that you should always be careful to avoid a fake claim because there may be different sites with a similar appearance.

On the payment page of the official site, you can choose a language according to native speakers. Several language options available include Arabic, English, German, Indonesian, Mandarin, and Spanish.

On the tourist levy form page, you will find several forms of identity including full name (as in your passport), active email, passport number, and date of arrival.

For payment methods, there are options of credit card (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and BCA Card), BPD Bali Channel, Bank Transfer, and QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard).

After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR Code which will later be scanned at the checkpoint when you arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali.

Can I Pay the Traveler Levy at the Airport?

Yes, you can do it. If you cannot pay the levy online, you can pay it in rupiah (IDR) at the checkpoint after you enter Bali.

Bali Airport is currently in the process of installing more checkpoints so that the tourist arrival process can be smoother in the future.
